Dr. Sharlene Raymer

President, Veterinarian

Dr. Raymer, a 2000 graduate of Texas A & M University, joined us in 2004. In 2017, she became the owner of Chestnut. Her progressive and compassionate medicine allows us to continue our commitment to providing our clients and their pets with up-to-date quality veterinary care. Her areas of interest include preventative and routine health care as well as internal medicine. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Sharlene has been married for 10 years and has a beautiful 9 year old daughter named Taylor. Her family also includes her 14 year old  Min. Pinscher Chaz, 14 year old Domestic Shorthair Boo, 10 year old Hammie, and three-legged cat Petri. She is also a dedicated supporter and volunteer for the Pearland Saints, a group of Special Olympics Texas athletes that includes her younger brother Jeffrey.
